How to Install gedit software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

gedit software package provides official text editor of the GNOME desktop environment, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gedit 

gedit is installed in your system.
